I am looking for fantastic babysitters and nannies

Do you have a passion for working with children? I would love to connect you with our Fantastic families! Fantastic Sitters places caregivers with families looking for help with date nights, backup care (when their regular childcare is not available), before and after-school care, part-time nannies, and full-time nannies. I want to know what you are looking for, so I can match you with families that fit your personal and career needs.

All Fantastic Sitter applicants must:

  • Be over 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent 

  • Have 2+ years of childcare experience

  • Provide 3 childcare related references

  • Be willing to undergo extensive background checks

  • Be CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to complete training

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Be passionate about working with children

  • Whether you are looking for babysitting jobs or to be a nanny, Fantastic Sitters takes on the time-consuming task of finding families who are a great match for you, and fit your scheduling needs. I’ll check your references once in the beginning, meaning, they will no longer be inconvenienced each time you interview with new families.

    Most families offer their full-time nannies paid vacation and sick time, many get personal days and health insurance contributions. The agency supports nannies and families with a customized agreement to set the foundation of a fantastic working relationship. Fantastic Sitters offers backup care for our families for when you’re off for vacation or ill so that they are still covered. I am here to answer your questions every step of the way!

  • To become a part of the Fantastic Sitters team, interviewing and onboarding usually take 1-2 weeks. To find a nanny position, it could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to find a great family to match with you.

  • Babysitting requests pay $20 per hour. Holiday rates are $30 per hour.

    Nanny rates depend on a caregiver’s background, experience, and the details of the family specific position. Check out the job board to find a Fantastic nanny family.

  • For sitting jobs, you will receive an email and/or text message. Please let me know, as soon as you can, if you are available or not for the placement. For nanny positions, I will send the family-specific job description to you via email and list them here.
