Book a fantastic babysitter

New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

Fantastic Sitters employs their babysitters and takes care of paying them directly.

Tipping on a job well done is not required, but always appreciated! If you would like to provide a gratuity, please give it directly to the caregiver at the end of the shift.

A four-hour minimum is required for all babysitter requests. If you are looking for a regular sitter to come for a few hours on a regular or weekly basis, please check out our options for a Part-Time Babysitter or Nanny.

The caregiver rate will be due for all hours of the request. Caregivers have reserved the time in their schedule, and they accept jobs based on the hours stated in the request.

If you may need more time than originally requested for the sit please note this variability when placing your request, that you would prefer a caregiver with a “flexible end time”. During the introductory call, please confirm with your caregiver the range of time when they might be relieved.

Login and scroll down to the booking calendar. Select the reservation and click edit to make adjustments or cancel.

If a request is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, the 4 hours' pay will be billed to the card on file and paid to the caregiver. Once a sitter is booked, the agency fee is nonrefundable for family-initiated cancellations.

You can book a previous caregiver or try a new one. By default, I always try to place the same caregivers with each family to stay consistent. Having advanced notice helps in this effort. All requests for future sitting should be made directly with Fantastic Sitters, please do not reach out to the caregivers directly. Review caregivers in the system to put your favorites at the top of the list. Scheduling will be based on their availability. I recommend getting to know a few Fantastic Sitters!

I make every effort to find one of our Fantastic Babysitters for every request, even on short notice. In the event that I am not able to find a caregiver for your request, a credit will be applied to the next booking.

Yes, as long as the other parents or guardians also sign the service agreement. Please note the additional children in the notes on the babysitting request form.

I appreciate your referrals and support! To ensure the safety of families and caregivers alike, all bookings with our sitters should be made directly with Fantastic Sitters via our online request form here. Please do not share the caregiver’s contact information, but please feel free to share the registration form with anyone who would benefit from getting to know our fantastic sitters.

Fantastic Sitters must be notified if your child is ill. Caregiver availability for minor illnesses will depend on the sitter’s preferences around sick care. Sick care requests incur a $10 agency fee and an additional $5/hour will be billed, for the caregiver. Please disclose this information when booking your request, or if illness occurs after the request has been placed, notify Fantastic Sitters in advance before your caregiver arrives. If the caregiver arrives and is unable to care for your child because an illness was not specified, the 4 hours pay will be due to the caregiver and billed to the card on file.
